Brown Rice Pilaf

Hi! Good day! Actually, I don't know what to post at this moment of time. All i want is to browse everybody's stuffs and woof! Nothing's next. Haha. I will just share this cute recipe and stuffs to you. My mom use yo make Green Rice Pilaf for us before, but now, it turned brown. :-P haha!

Prepare:

3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoon water
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup whole-grain brown rice, uncooked
1/3 cup finely chop onion
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
1 bay leaf
3 tablespoons unsalted dry-roasted peanuts
Here's how:

Combine water and broth in a sauce pan; bring to aboil. Add rice and next 4 ingredients; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 50 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat; let stand, covered, 10 minutes. Discard bay leaf. Stir in peanuts. Serve and _____?
