Honey Rice

No man likes the same thing every night. Here is an array of ways to zest to your menus. Tasty, try them!


Prepare:
3 cups cooked rice
1/2 cup seedless raisins
2 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Nut Clusters

Prepare:
1 package or 8 squares semi sweet chocolate
1 1/2 to 2 cups whole or halved nuts

Old Fashioned Nut Bars

Prepare:
1 package or 8 squares semisweet chocolate
2/3 cup chopped nuts
2/3 cup raisins

Here's how:
Line bottom of 8x4 inch loaf pan with waxed paper, letting ends extend beyond pan. Melt chocolate in saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from hea and stir in raisins and nuts. Pour into loaf pan, spreading evenly. Tap pan several times to settle chocolate. Top with additional chopped or halved nuts, if desired. Chill until chocolate is firm. Lift from pan, remove waxed paper and cut into bars and squares.

Chocolate Classic Fudge

Prepare:

2 squares unsweetened chocolate
3/4 cup milk
2 cups sugar
dash of salt
2 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
