Smoked Salmon with Wasabi Cream

Smoked salmon is so wonderful that it's best served simply without too much fussing. In this recipe, the wasabi gives the cream cheese an unexpected kick.

8 oz cream cheese softened
2 tbsp fresh chives chopped
1 tbsp prepared wasabi
8 oz smoked salmon thinly sliced
chopped fresh chives
pepper and lemon wedges
32 pumpernickel cocktail rounds

Here's How:
Beat together cream cheese, 2 tbsp chives and wasabi until smooth. Spoon into serving dish; cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Arrange smoked salmon on large platter. Garnish with the remaining chives, pepper and lemon wedges. Serve with wasabi cream and bread.
