1 tablespoons margarine or butter
1 package semisweet chocolate chips
3 cups cereal
1 cup chopped nuts
Heat margarine and chocolate chips in 3-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted and smooth; remove from heat. Stir in cereal and nuts until well coated.
Press mixture firmly in ungreased square pan, 9x9x2 inches, with buttered back of spoon. Refrigerate about 30 minutes or until firm. Cut into about 2 1/4 x 1 1/2-inch bars. Refrigerate any remaining bars. Can make 2 dozen bars.
