Date 'n Walnut Brandy Sauce

Serve this unique dessert sauce over slices of pound cake or ice cream.

Prepare:
2 tablespoon brown sugar
2 cups water
1 cup chopped dates
2 tablespoon brandy
2 cups chopped walnuts



Here's How:
In medium saucepan, combine brown sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stir in dates. Simmer over medium heat 20 minutes or until mixture thickens slightly. Stir in brandy and walnuts. Serve warm over ice cream. Store any remaining sauce in refrigerator.
