White Cookie in Walnuts and Raspberry

This was a time planned cookie which was so easy and so convenient to make. Why not try one?

Here's How:

Prepare:
DOUGH #1
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups all purpose flour
-In a large bowl, beat butter with sugar until fluffy. Stir in egg and vanilla, gradually add flour . Mix well.
DOUGH #2
1 cup butter, softened
3 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup sugar
1 3/4 cup all purpose flour

GARNISH- finely chopped walnuts and raspberry jam.
-In a large bowl beat butter until fluffy, gradually beat in cornstarch, then sugar. Slowly stir in flour about 1/4 cup at a time. Mix well.

Slowly mix together both doughs. Roll dough into small balls, about 1 1/2 inch diameter. Roll balls in chopped walnuts to cover. Press thumb print into each cookie, fill in raspberry jam. Bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes.
